Back in April, the founders of Polybius felt like they personally contribute to tackling the Covid-19 crisis. As a result, OSOM finance and Burfa Tech made arrangements to bring a much-needed lung diagnostic equipment to the Estonian hospital of Ida-Virumaa (press coverage of the announcement in RU and EE: https://link.osom.finance/dv-covid19, https://link.osom.finance/pohjarannik, https://link.osom.finance/goodnews)
The initiative has materialized at the beginning of June when the modern device has arrived and got installed at the hospital. Even though the peak of the pandemic is behind us, the newest addition to the hospital’s resources will increase its capacity dramatically. In addition, it did not go unnoticed by Estonian media and sets an example for all the businesses that are considering their options of giving back to society.
